My Dream's Interesting Ideas

I consider myself to be a very deep thinker, and it's dreams like the one I had last night that show just how far that goes...  In the midst of my dream, I encountered a midget who was angry at me for some reason.  And in an effort to distract him, I asked if I could respectfully ask a question: "Do midgets have less pints of blood in their body than non-midgets?"

He got angry that I'd ask such a question, but then he realized he had never considered such an idea.  I then added, "I've often wondered the same thing for people who lose a leg or something - does their body naturally start producing less pints of blood for the rest of their life?"

It was a pretty silly dream, but you have to admit...  That's a pretty darn good question for being asleep.  Any answers or suggestions?

Hot Lava Dreams

About three nights ago, I had a dream that involved hot lava.  I think it's our childhood that makes us label it as "hot" lava, which an unnecessary obvious adjective (duh, lava is hot).  And I believe it may stem from playing Super Mario Bros. a lot as a kid.  Repeatedly trying to get through nightmarish castles that held lava in their motes and knowing that a very timely jump was the only thing between you and instant sure-death...  It seems that everyone else in my dreams who had to leap over small streams of lava and failed would die...  But when I touched it, it wasn't hot to the touch, but for the remainder of the dream, it still would be avoided at all costs.  Also, the consistency of the lava is always that of tomato soup rather than being a thick, luscious molten rock.

I'm very curious about how many other people dream of lava and what they think was the original inspiration for such dreams.  Do you also not die when you touch it while others around you do?  This last dream of lava was the first time in many years.
